QuickCodes
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2 May 2026
1. About these terms
QuickCodes is owned and operated by Quick Pages Pty Ltd. References to "QuickCodes", "we", "us", and "our" mean Quick Pages Pty Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of QuickCodes, a service for creating, managing, and tracking QR codes that redirect scanners to destination URLs chosen by account holders. By creating an account, signing in, creating a QR code, or using a QuickCodes redirect link, you agree to these terms.
If you use QuickCodes on behalf of a business, organisation, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that entity.
2. Accounts
You need an account to create and manage QR codes. You must provide accurate account information, including your name, email address, password, and preferred time zone. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may require email verification, password confirmation, or other reasonable checks before allowing access to account features.
3. QR code creation and redirects
QuickCodes lets you create named QR codes with unique redirect URLs. Each QR code points to a destination URL that you provide. You can view, edit, deactivate, and delete your own QR codes from your account.
You are solely responsible for the destination URLs you enter and the content, products, services, or materials made available through those destinations. QuickCodes does not create, control, endorse, or verify third-party destination pages.
A QR code must not redirect to content or activity that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, or designed to compromise security, privacy, or device integrity.
4. Scan analytics
When someone uses a QuickCodes redirect link, the service records scan activity so the QR code owner can view usage statistics. Current scan records include the QR code scanned, IP address, user agent, referrer, and scan time. Statistics may be shown in account dashboards and QR code detail pages.
Scan analytics are provided for operational and reporting purposes. They may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, blocked by browsers or networks, or affected by technical limits.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use QuickCodes to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, phish for information, impersonate others, send people to deceptive or unsafe content, overload the service, bypass access controls, scrape non-public areas, or interfere with the operation of QuickCodes.
We may suspend, disable, or remove accounts, QR codes, or redirect links if we reasonably believe they breach these terms, create risk for users or scanners, expose us to liability, or affect the reliability or security of the service.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the QR code names, destination URLs, and related materials you provide. You grant us permission to host, process, display, and use that information as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve QuickCodes.
You must have all rights and permissions needed for the destination URLs and materials you use with QuickCodes.
7. Service changes and availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of QuickCodes from time to time. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of any QR code redirect, or error-free operation.
8. Account deletion
You may delete your account from your profile area. Deleting your account removes your account and the QR codes associated with it. Because QR code scan records are linked to QR codes, deleting a QR code or account also removes the associated scan records from the application database.
9. Intellectual property
QuickCodes, including its software, interface, branding, service design, documentation, and related intellectual property, is owned by Quick Pages Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse any part of the service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
QuickCodes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties, guarantees, and representations that are not expressly stated in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or losses caused by destination websites, user-provided URLs, scanner activity, or unauthorised account access.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of QuickCodes after an update means you accept the updated terms.
